You'll also be able to get a great view of Oneida Lake from the outdoor patio. The Lake House offers a more intimate setting compared to the Nation's other three casinos. 'We are thrilled to be expanding on this success with the new Sylvan Beach project, which will continue to make Central New York a world-class tourist destination and support the local economy with new jobs and new public revenues.'
Sylvan Beach Mayor Greg Horan is looking forward to the addition. He hopes it'll bring more people to the area. Horan said, 'We have a beautiful beach and world famous sunsets, and I think the goal would be if we could get more of a year-round destination I think would be great. I think this would help hopefully drive that.'
The Nation said the new facility will feature indoor and outdoor dining options and gaming on the premises. They anticipate about 60 new jobs.
The Nation said their properties have generated more than $70 million in revenue for the state in 2019, including $18 million for Oneida County.
